okay so we have done it. YAY! NOW WHAT HAVE WE CHOSEN TO DO?
we have chosen to convert corn into FUEL!
ohmygosh that’s cool.
Suggested Ideas:
-Paint classrooms green.
Benefits: Can promote the school to go green
Reduce myopia among the students
Problems faced: Stench from the paint/paint that has no-smell is more costly
-Hug a tree competition.
Students who hug the most number of trees(with evidence,eg: photos/videos) win a prize
Benefits: Brings people closer to the trees/environment
Encourage students to grow more trees
Problems faced: People might be unwilling to participate in the above activity due to discomfort
-Organize campaign(s):
→Save the Trees, Save Yourself
As trees give out oxygen during photosynthesis, the fewer number of trees results in the lesser amounts of oxygen.
→Screen a movie. eg. The Day After Tomorrow, The Inconvenient Truth (Can go to www.free-movies.net, www.movie6.net
Ask the students thought-provoking questions.
Educate them on the effects of global warming.
